About   Nanum

Our new headquarters in Lagoa Santa spans a total area of 20,000 m², with 8,000 m² of built structures, including five production lines and six new laboratories.

We expanded our team and invested in R&D for new magnetic metal oxides and specialty inks. We also updated our brand identity.

We earned ISO 9001:2015 certification, validating our ability to develop products that meet customer specifications and are delivered under controlled conditions.

We began developing carbon-based nanostructures.

We inaugurated our first dedicated facility in Lagoa Santa — a world pioneer in MICR magnetic ink production — along with new specialty inks.

After developing new nanoparticles and production processes for metal oxides, one of our magnetic ferrites was approved for use in security inks by a major multinational corporation.

We became NANUM Nanotechnology S.A. Entrepreneurs from Minas Gerais invested in the company, which was incubated at the BIOMINAS Foundation's Habitat. NANUM became independent from Instituto Inovação.

We created our name — NANUM Nanotechnology Ltd. — and developed our first logo. Instituto Inovação and professors affiliated with the UFMG Nanotechnology Laboratory became our early partners.
